Market Research Mobile Internet Services End User Usage Trends

Canadians are spending a larger percentage of their budgets on cellular phones and Internet access.

From 1997 to 2004, households increased their total expenditure on cellular and Internet services by 27.5%. Over the same period, expenditures on household operations also increased by 27.7%. However, when examining communications, Stats Canada noted that expenditures on traditional telephone service fell by 8.4% while expenditures on wireless increased by 253%, and Internet access by 600%s

In early 2007, Barack Obama was a fairly unknown senator running for president against a Democratic nominee with the household name of Hilary Clinton. Facebook's second earnings report as a public company came in just above Wall Street estimates, but that was enough for investors to give shares a nice boost. Investors were obviously waiting for a sign of positive movement in earnings.

Late on Tuesday, the social network reported sales of nearly $1.3 billion for its third quarter, up 32% from the same period last year.

Facebook's Help Page Dispelling Common Myths But Leaves You Wondering, Houston There's A Problem...

Anthony De Rosa (Reuters social media editor) pointed us to what appears to be a new section in Facebook’s help centre which addresses the many commonly myths about Facebook. It is clear that the brand is seriously distrusted because they have to devise an entire help section dedicated to dispelling the many reported privacy issues.

Facebook refuted privacy threats, but this has done little to comfort the paranoid users who have come to deeply distrust this social network powerhouse.
